Summer Coaches and Volunteers;

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your work in making the league a success again this year.  For the past few years we've held an end of the season Coaches' Game and Cookout event as a way to show our appreciation. This year (the 4th Annual!) we will hold the event on Sunday, August 22nd at 11am. Bring your kids, friends, friends of friends, or anyone who's ever heard of this game they call soccer.  All skill levels welcomed!!

We (and by "we" I mean Bob Hazelwood) will be grilling burgers and dogs.  It's a lot of fun - we hope you can join us!

Summer Soccer Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ | FAQ | FAQ | FAQ

Here are a few answers to the most common questions about Summer Soccer. (updated 4/29/09)

Q. Is this a soccer Camp? How is it different?

A. No. This is a recreational program of games and practices that extends throughout the summer. Players will be divided into teams that will practice and compete much like a "lite" version of the travel program, except without the travel. A camp is more focused on more intensive skills development over a shorter period, typically one week. The summer program combines a more relaxed schedule of training with 8 games in friendly competition with other summer league teams. ASA will also be sponsoring a soccer camp in August in conjunction with Challenger Sports, one of the most respected British soccer organizations.
