Homeless Soccer Team Roots for New Life

News and Information

This is a very inspiring article about a soccer team made up of people living in a homeless shelter in New York City.

"The idea behind homeless soccer is something like this: Take a group of poor people, disconnected from the regular rhythms of life, lacking both physical exercise and much to look forward to. Add soccer."

  1. When the Drupal User does not match up with the correct Civicrm user, you can change this my doing a sql query in the civicrm database to table civicrm_uf_match.
    1. for example

      update `civicrm_uf_match` set contact_id = replace (contact_id, '720', '907');

      Where 720 is the civicrm Contact_ID of what it is connected to and 920 is the civicrm contact id you want to change it to.  you can find the contact_id by doing a civicrm search and selecting the contact, the contact id will be in the URL .   The uf_id in the civicrm_uf_match corresponds the drupal user id which can be seen the the URL when viewing the user.

Attitudes are Contagious

FAQ | FAQ | FAQ | News and Information

Mass Youth Soccer has developed and produced an outstanding video focusing on the issues of sideline behavior of adults, and specifically on how that behavior is affecting the retention of qualified referees. While many have talked about the issue of adult sideline behavior, Mass Youth is the only organization to turn the talk into a valuable tool that teams, towns, clubs and leagues can put into immediate use to help curb unwanted noise along the sidelines.
