Summer Soccer Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ | FAQ | FAQ | FAQ

Here are a few answers to the most common questions about Summer Soccer. (updated 4/29/09)

Q. Is this a soccer Camp? How is it different?

A. No. This is a recreational program of games and practices that extends throughout the summer. Players will be divided into teams that will practice and compete much like a "lite" version of the travel program, except without the travel. A camp is more focused on more intensive skills development over a shorter period, typically one week. The summer program combines a more relaxed schedule of training with 8 games in friendly competition with other summer league teams. ASA will also be sponsoring a soccer camp in August in conjunction with Challenger Sports, one of the most respected British soccer organizations. Click HERE for more information on the ASA/Challenger Sports British Soccer camp.

Attitudes are Contagious

FAQ | FAQ | FAQ | News and Information

Mass Youth Soccer has developed and produced an outstanding video focusing on the issues of sideline behavior of adults, and specifically on how that behavior is affecting the retention of qualified referees. While many have talked about the issue of adult sideline behavior, Mass Youth is the only organization to turn the talk into a valuable tool that teams, towns, clubs and leagues can put into immediate use to help curb unwanted noise along the sidelines.
