Spring U6/U8 Development Program

Amesbury Soccer Association and Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association will be hosting a U6/U8 Development Program this Spring. In this program children ages 4 - 8 will play activities designed to develop their soccer skills and they will participate in inter-group small sided games. The program will be held Saturday mornings from 8:15 - 9:15 for U6, and 9:30 - 10:30 for U8 at Woodsom Farm. Dates for the program are:

When, Where:
G license: Sunday, March 7^th 8-12 pm, BHS Field House (4 hour course).
F license: Sunday, March 7^th, 8 am-5 pm, BHS Field House (8 hour course).
E license: Sunday, March 14^th & 21nd 8 am-5 pm, BHS Field House (16 hour course).

Sugarloaf and Sunday River

Adult Lift Ticket $63 per person/day

Young Adult Lift Ticket $55 per person/day

Junior Lift Ticket $44 per person/day

Time is short for Spring Travel Registration. All Spring Travel Soccer Teams need to be formed by Dec 18th.

U10 Boys, U10 Girls, U12 Girls and U14 Boys teams are full. If you want to be placed on a waiting list please download the registration form and send it to ASA, PO Box 127, Amesbury, Ma. 01913

All teams must have a minimum number of players for their age group and a coach. All players must have given the registrar an ID picture if they did not play in the Fall '09 season.

Former Amesbury player selected GNAC Defensive Player of the Year!

Shannon Fitzgerald, a familiar face seen refereeing Amesbury Travel Soccer, has been selected 1st Team All Conference for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference and has also been named Defensive Player of the Year. Shannon is a sophomore at St. Joseph's College in Maine.

Fitzgerald, the anchor of a talented SJC backline, started all 20 games for the 12-6-2 Monks this fall. St. Joe's ranked sixth in the conference in both goals allowed and goals against average with Fitzgerald roaming on the defensive end. The postseason accolades are the first of this talented sophomore's career.

Homeless Soccer Team Roots for New Life

You can now fill out your coaches application online.

When registering as Coach:

Select the appropriate program (Season you wish to register for) Select the age group you wish to coach for,
Select the "Unassigned Coach Registration"
Read and accept the online agreement
On the "Coach / Manager / Team Rep Entry" screen, if you have been a coach in ASA travel in the past you are already in the database, select the "Click Here" near the top of the page to login and register as your current user.
If you do not remember your login or password the system can email it to you, you just need to know your email address and birthdate.
After filling out the registration form you are brought the transaction screen.
select "Submit Registration by Alternate Payment"
Payment Type "Coaches Registration- No Payment Required"

ASA’s EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM!!

Do you have soccer equipment that is getting bored collecting dust in your closet? Re-energize your equipment, or at least clear out the space by participating in ASA’s equipment exchange program. ASA will be collecting used equipment (such as shoes, shin guards, soccer balls, cones, practice jerseys, etc.) at registration nights and throughout the season and find a place where it can 'fit ' in, play and be involved in the game it loves.
