Margaret M. will send out letters to the parents stating what team their child/children are on. (May need an original copy from Dayle)
We will need Cashmand & Woodsom fields for teh back up games. NESS will be the first choice for the fields for all U12 and up, so that we can get them up to the size they need to be. Bob will need to talk to Gerry Mandolto about the use of the Cashman field. A motion was made to move all U10 games to Woodsom Farm for the Spring. Margaret will speak to Bob H. about the field set-up for the Spring.
NESS - we all agreed that the training in the Fall was too expensive and too crowded. Alan will send Margaret an email with all the Coaches emails to get more feedback from them. We all were in agreement that it was too crowded with Newburyport and that the age groups need to be separated.
Jim T. made a suggestion to see if NESS might be interested in running a week long clinic for the more experienced travel players, as a stepping stone before playing on a club team.
*Need to get quotes from NESS (changes need to be made), Soccer Extreme, & Seacoast on spring training clinics.
Cary/fundraising-scheduled a Flatbread for March 13th, kids will need to paint a banner for this(Jim T. has offered to do this with his girls) Colleen L. will stuff polys with info prior to. We may even do a raffle that night at Flatbreads, please show your support. We have sold a lot of bags & sweatshirts over the holidays. Also planning a Papa Gino's night coming this Spring. More to come.....
Rob D. - suggested to have the summer coaches take some sort of coaching clinic before coaching/maybe the 4hr course offered online
Candace -will check about hosting a "E" license for the Amesbury Travel Coaches @ NESS
NESS- will be doing communiy day camps this Spring and will have summer camps as well-check out the info on their website for the upcoming March MadNESS Tournament on March 24 & 25th for the town teams.
Colleen L will be writing up a permission slip for the kids to have their pictures taken and possibly used on our website.
Mark H. - gave a short tutorial on how to input/edit information on the website - thanks Mark, the website is looing good!
