Spring Travel 2012 Registration has started!

In Travel Soccer the teams play 8 games in a season. 4 games are in Amesbury, 4 games are in another town in Essex County. The games are played on Saturdays (U10 - U14) and Sundays (U16 - U19) and start on the weekend of April 7th. There are generally 2 practices a week about 1.5 hours long. The days of the practices is dependent on the coach's availability!

Teams must be formed before December 31st!  This means each player must have their fee, picture for player ID and registration form to the ASA registrar by December 31st.    After December 31st new teams cannot be created and team placement is based on availability!

Spring Travel Soccer is for Age Groups U10, U12, U14, U16 and U19

Age Group Eligibility

• U10 (Born between 8/1/2001 and 9/30/2004, 2nd grade or higher) (Min team size 8, Max team size 12)
• U12 (Born on or after 8/1/1999) (Min team size 10, Max team size 15)
• U14 (Born on or after 8/1/1997) (Min team size 14, Max team size 18)
• U16 (Born on or after 8/1/1995) (Min team size 14, Max team size 18)
• U19 (Born on or after 8/1/1992) (Min team size 14, Max team size 18)

Player team assignments will be carried out as specified in ASA Operating Procedures.

Registration procedures:

1. Each applicant is required to provide:
1. A signed Registration, there are 2 ways to register:

2. By mail, download registration and mail it to ASA, PO Box 127 Amesbury, Ma 01913
2. Copy of player’s Birth Certificate
1. Only need if player has not played for ASA Travel in the past 2 years.
3. Passport sized photo of player.  Your registration cannot be processed submitted to the ECYSA league without one!  If registering online, you may email a digital picture to registrar@amesburyyouthsoccer.org or mail the picture to ASA, .
2. Registration Fee:
1. $90 for first player from each family.
2. Deduct $10 for each additional player from the same family.
3. Late Fee
1. Applications received after December 4th are subject to a $25 late fee.
4. Withdrawal - If any player decides to not play after his/her registration is received by ASA, refunds will be made under the following conditions:
1. Full refund if requested before teams are submitted to ECYSA (January 5th, 2012).
2. Less $25, if requested after teams are submitted to ECYSA, but before 1st game of the Spring ‘12 Season.
3. No refund after the first game of the Spring ’12 Season.
