AMESBURY SOCCER NEEDS YOU!

The Amesbury Soccer Association is holding its annual General Meeting and Elections, Monday Nov 8th 7:00PM-9:00PM at the Provident Bank Community Room, 5 Market St., Amesbury, Ma.  There are several positions open on the board and on committees.  The Board is responsible for running the summer recreational, U6/U8 early development and competitive travel soccer programs.

Positions involve assisting in fundraising, team organization, coach development, program structure and operation, and public relations.

Please consider volunteering your time in helping us make soccer a fun and rewarding experience for all.  We appreciate any and all help offered.

ASA will be holding a Spring Travel Registration night, Tuesday, Nov 9th at the Cashman School Cafeteria from 6:30-8:00PM.

In Travel Soccer the teams play 8 games in a season. 4 games are in Amesbury, 4 games are in another town in Essex County. The games are played on Saturdays (U10 - U14) and Sundays (U16 - U19) and start on the weekend of April 9th. There are generally 2 practices a week about 1.5 hours long. The days of the practices is dependent on the coach's availability.

All Amesbury Soccer players, volunteers, and families are invited to march with us Saturday, Dec 4, in the Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony.

We will be assembling on Greenleaf St. at 3:00PM. The parade starts at 3:30 followed by the tree lighting ceremony.

We will be giving out candy and collecting canned goods, non perishable food items and blankets for "Our Neighbors Table", so if you have a wagon please bring so that we can collect these items along the route.
